When the team was just inches from scoring, fans would chant ""Stick it In, Stick it In, Stick it In"" with the band, meaning stick the football in the endzone. The chant fell under scrutiny and was ultimately banned by the university during games for being ""distasteful"". However, we feel this a chant about football and that taste is in the eye of the beholder. It's part of our town culture and a piece of fan history and it's here to stay.
